As its annual project, the Cloverdale Neighborhood Association worked with the city of Chattanooga to install three entrance signs in the Hixson neighborhood.
The association’s 30-plus active members contributed 5 percent of the $2,105 cost of the signs, said project chairman Ed Gravitte, and the city supplied the remainder of the funds necessary.
“It helps to identify our neighborhood,” he said of the project. “It’s a good idea for the emergency vehicles.”
The signs were created by Tom Marshall of Billy T & Tom Signs and are located at the following intersections: Cloverdale Drive and Hixson Pike, Cloverdale Drive and Norcross Road and Koblan Drive and Norcross Road.
