The former Partyville Inc. on Hixson Pike was recently host to a new kind of party – the grand opening of Integrity Elite All Stars.
Longtime cheer coach Richard Porter has transformed the space into a paradise for cheerleaders and tumblers. And he’s inviting the community to check out all its features, which include springboard flooring, trampolines and a colorful toddler climbing wall.
“It’s more than just coming and learning how to flip or how to tumble or do a toe touch,” said Porter. “It provides athletes of all ages an in-house facility that teaches them fundamentals, instills responsibility, dedication, faith in yourself.”
Porter has been coaching for 12 years. He said he recently had the opportunity to step away from a corporate setting to open up Integrity Elite. It’s one of the only two locally run gyms of its kind in the area, he added.
Integrity Elite’s trampolines are intentionally positioned for wall walking lessons, with a springboard floor covering the majority of the gym.
“It’s the only gym in town that has full new generation springboard flooring for all classes,” Porter said.
Since Integrity Elite caters to athletes of all ages, one of the only toddler climbing walls in the city is situated in the corner of the gym.
“It teaches strength and core strength,” explained Porter.
On top of the top-notch training equipment, Porter said he also plans to offer events like teen party nights with a live DJ, parents’ nights out, open gym sessions, birthday parties and more.
