Luxe Boutique brings affordable, unique fashion to North Shore

Sisters-in-law Resa and Crystal Roberts are spending a lot of time in two college towns lately — Cookeville and, more recently, Chattanooga.

That’s because they just opened up their second location of Luxe Boutique at 701 Frazier Ave.

The duo first opened the doors of Luxe in Cookeville two years ago. When they saw that the Frazier Avenue location was available for lease after longtime tenant Go Fish Clothing & Jewelry Co. moved down the street, adding a new location in the Scenic City was a no-brainer, they said.

“The city’s awesome,” Resa said of Chattanooga. “It totally fits the vibe of the store.”

She describes the merchandise as “young and fun,” with 80 percent of the clothing, shoes, jewelry and more at a price point of less than $100.

“We cater to college [students] but we have something for everyone,” said Crystal. “It’s unique, affordable fashion. No one else will have it on.”

Among the vibrant and trendy merchandise is a section of basics with items like camisoles and leggings. Crystal said the basics are hugely popular among customers because of the price point and the fact that one size fits all.

“It’s like the hidden secret in the store,” laughed Resa.

Both she and Crystal said they are excited to cater to a new community.

“It’s about building relationships and really catering to our customers, whether they spend $5 or $500,” Crystal said.
