Cocoaberry Frozen Yogurt is a new locally owned business located in the Signal Mountain Walmart shopping center at 541 Signal Mountain Blvd., Suite #225. Owner Kush Shah said he is confident Chattanoogans will embrace Cocoaberry as their very own community froyo fix, created by a Chattanoogan, for Chattanoogans.
“I’m really excited to open here because the frozen yogurt industry is growing big time,” Shah said. “This is a great environment and people are shifting their sweet tooth to healthier options that they can create themselves and enjoy.”
Cocoaberry features everything from exotic flavors like mango to seasonal favorites like pumpkin and eggnog, and from trendy mixes like sea salt-caramel pretzel to traditional tastes like peanut butter and jelly.
All told, the menu has 50 rotating kinds of premium live-culture yogurt, all high in calcium and low in carbs. Many of the flavors available are also low in fat or have no fat, and there are even dairy-free selections.
Cocoaberry is celebrating its grand opening Friday, March 1 with fun activities and specials. All week long from March 1-7, froyo cups up to 8 ounces will be free from 11 a.m. to noon and from noon to 1 p.m. Sunday, March 3. In addition, each day has a special theme, with its own discounts and giveaways.
