E.J. Pelton opens Soddy-Daisy office

E.J. Pelton Company is expanding its accounting and tax services into the North Hamilton County area with a new location in Soddy-Daisy.

Owner Eric Pelton established the company in 1976, offering business consulting and financial planning in addition to accounting and tax services from his Brainerd location.

“We’re small business specialists,” said the Hixson resident, who is happy to be opening a second office closer to home.

The company also serves individuals and Pelton said he derives satisfaction from helping families as well as his small business clients achieve their financial goals.

“People work hard, and we respect that,” said Pelton, adding that the company’s respect for customers’ hard-earned dollars is part of what has made it successful in the past, as is the way clients are treated. “We do business by the golden rule.”
