Keller Williams Realty offices nationwide will be participating in RED Day 2009. Each office will be choosing a community/volunteer event. 700 offices and 73,000 agents are expected to participate in Chattanooga and across the nation. Keller Williams Downtown Chattanooga has chosen to clean up Maclellan Island, an 18 acre wildlife preserve and educational site in Downtown Chattanooga owned by the Chattanooga Audubon Society.
Keller Williams agents and friends will be transported over to the Island on the Chattanooga Ducks who will pick them up at the Georgia Avenue Keller Williams office at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 14 and the day will be devoted to the clean-up of Maclellan Island.
Keller Williams agents take pride in giving back to their communities and this National Day of Service – Red Day – (all the volunteers will be wearing red shirts) is designed to honor Mo Anderson, a cultural icon and visionary leader with Keller Williams International. She has been a tireless supporter of community causes and in 2003, she founded KW Cares to assist company associates and their families in need and raised millions for Hurricane Katrina relief.
