The South Carolina State Guard is pleased to announce that Cpl. Mark Alan Day of Taylors has graduated from the Warrior Leaders Course. The Warrior Leaders Course (WLC) is the first step in the Noncommissioned Officer Education System. The WLC trains soldiers in basic leadership skills, noncommissioned officer (NCO) duties, responsibility and authority, and how to conduct performance-orientated training, the history of the SCSG and Drill and Ceremonies. Cpl. Day is a member of the Second Battalion Second Brigade of the South Carolina State Guard. Since joining the South Carolina State Guard, Cpl. Day has completed the Security Specialist/Basic MP Training. Cpl. Day is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl M. Day, Jr. of Chattanooga and the husband of Lynn B. Day.
